The Great Britain government has disposed to reconsider the Outer Space Act, accepted in 1986. This law is a legal basis of British activity in space.
Necessity of legal norm s development is connected with that the nearest years the private companies are going to be occupied in space tourism. They will offer flights in space under rather reasonable prices.
The law should define operating conditions of the companies and rules of behavior on the orbit. It is expected, that British will be forbidden to throw out waste in the space and to cause any damage to space bodies. Besides a section, concerning criminal offences in space will be included in the law.
Virgin Galactic company plans to do mass space transportations beginning with 2009. The passengers, ready to pay about 200 thousand dollars, will lift on height of 130 kilometers. American company Space Adventures also is going to offer similar services.
For today in space tourism is engaged only Roscosmos, sent on ISS several passengers. The price of such flight makes approximately 20 million dollars.
